This unique medieval sword is based on the Writhen Hilt Sword.  This type of branch motif is an absolute classic of late 15thC German manufacture.

This iconic medieval German sword is a jewel of the sword collections around the world and has a cast bronze hilt with fluted and carved wooden grips and a strong slender blade.

The original was gilded and the sword can be supplied with either a polished bronze or gold plated hilt with ebony grips.
